at the rodeo!

Saturday nite we had tickets to the 2nd annual Kiwanis Statesboro Rodeo!  Can you say yee-ha?
Danny didn't get to go cause he got stuck on call :( but I loaded the four heathens up and off we went.

My favorites were the bucking bronco's and the bull riding.
Emma didn't like how the cows "smelt."

We sat on the sunny side of the arena, so amy pics are not good.
They put on a great show, lots of bedazzling belt buckles!

Hopefully they will keep this was a great event for the kids and adults!

things to do with a can

I found these somewhere the other day and thought "what a cute idea!"  We have tons of birds in the yard so we made them a little feeder for seed and a tidbit basket to help them build their nests.

Cute project to do with the kids.  We painted the cans with chalkboard paint and simply
punched holes in the side and tied some cotton twine for hanging.

After 7 years... has finally happened.  We no longer have a crib in the house, a little sad, but a little happy.
Sam (imagine that!) broke Madi's crib rail so yesterday we went to get her a toddler bed.

And with that, our baby days are over.
Next step, getting the last one out of diapers!

creative mojo

I've been in a bit of a creative slump, unable to start or finish much.  I've decided though that I am going to start scrapbooking again.  I am shamefully waware that my last two kids have zero scrapbooks beside their baby books!  So yesterday I started on this book for a special someone who isn't here yet ;)

I also finally finished this!!

and plans are in the making for a play blanket...

Emmy and I made her a new rag doll yesterday...she named her Holly...

She almost went to school with her this morning, but she
didn't fit into the bookbag!  The kids have track and field day today at school...hoping the rain stays away until they are done!!

Our little duckies are getting bigger and bigger everyday!
I had to make a quick run to Walmart last night to get a bigger tub for them!
boy are they messy!!

and despite all that creative work, I made room for some faith reading :)

what have you got your hands into today?

So we all agreed upon the name Thor for the puppy.  He is the last one left...everyone else has been adopted (whew!)  He spent his first night inside with us last night (in our bathroom) and didn't cry at all till about 6 am this morning.

Who is gonna be best friends?   Ummmm...I wonder?

Before the last two went onto their new owners, they all had a good romp around the back yard..

Molly had her first nights sleep without any pups last  night.
I'm sure Thor and her are a little lonely without
all the chaos, but a little bit grateful...just like us, happy that they all went
to good homes.

Molly's last litter
born 3/4/12

Puppies: Week 5

Can u say cute?  LOL!
fuzzy little puppies with sharp little teeth and claws....

I'll give you ONE guess as to who's hands those are?  LOL

MAMA loves to play with her pups.

This is George (or at least that's what I call him).  He's one of two we will be keeping.
He's so sweet!

"I want to HOLD them....."

...and LOVE them.....

....and SQUEEZE them!!"

Let's just say Sam needs to be MONITORED when around the pups.

if you want one or know anyone who does, please e mail me!
