Why I should pray more.

Some days are easy, some are not.  For those that are not, I should probably pray more.

10 reasons I should pray more:

1.  One of my supervisors saw me at the Lowe's garden center looking at flowers.  She watched as my children punched the crap out of each other while in the cart.   She also watched as I just ignored them.

2.  I buy beer at Walmart at 9:45 am and I am usually drinking it by 10 am.

3.  My pastor made me mad a few months ago and I sent him an e mail about it.

4.  I've entertained the idea of leaving my kids, in the cart, in the Walmart cart corral and driving away.
(I really wouldn't do this, lol).

5.  I'm teaching my two year old to say "Daddy?  Daddy?  Daddy?  I want a pony."  I'm hoping she says it all weekend while I am at work.

6.  I asked my husband why our boy puppy has weiner hair.

7.  I have asked someone why on earth they put a zucchini THERE?

8.  I have made my four year old pose for pictures after major doodie episode's before cleaning him up.

9.  I made a grown woman clean up her own poop off a chair.

10.  I am still thinking about the girl who called me my husband's mother.

lol.  i'm really over all of it.  i think

Welcome to the Fair!

Last night we visited the opening night of the Kiwanis Ogeechee Fair here in Statesboro....the kids had a blast, I ate ate my first fried snickers bar and we all went on the ferris wheel!  After I got home, I realized I had signed up to work (sorry everyone!).  We had a great time, saw some friends and lots of "interesting" folks, lol!

heart(s)

Last Sunday my husband and I headed down the hall from our own Sunday School class to pick up the kids at their classrooms. He headed down the hall, but Sam's Sunday School teacher laughingly pulled me into the room.  She was covering her face, giggling and said "OMG, Sam is so cute.".  I apologized and said "What did he do now?".  Lol, always Sam.

Seems Sammy was sitting next to her at Children's Church and was enamored by her "heart".  His exact words were "I lush (love, in Samanese) u heart." All the while RUBBING her boob.  Then he says, as he moves his hand over and discovers her other boob..."Oh u has two hearts.  I lush them.  They so soft.".

My response?  "Well, he was breastfed."

Reason 4, 356,783 why we are going to get kicked out of church.

Way to cop a feel, Sam.

7

I've had a plain white boring 7 on my shelf for a few months and I finally go the inspiration to do something with it :)  A 7, you say, well what's that for?  Well, it's the number of people in my immediate family...our signature I suppose.  I received these wood veneer people in the mail with my MW Express Kit and the lightbulb went on!

Green:  because I love the color!

Would make a cute Christmas gift!

Scrap fabric

Got fabric scraps left over?  I used mine to make this shabby chic lampshade for the girls room!
{inspiration:  Pinterest of course!}
I repainted the base of the lamp (it was black) to tie in with all the beautiful colors.

So sweet!

monogram canvas decor

Hi all!  Just popping in to share a little home dec project I did for the girls room!  The girls needed something above their beds and I wanted to do something with their initials.  I purchased some cheap (walmart) canvas boards, added some scrapbook paper, paper doilies, binding tape, ribbon and buttons.  I modge podge everything to the boards and hot glued the buttons on.

Emma's :)

Emmy's is pink and turquoise...do u love the chevron paper???
Her canvas is a little more girly.
The little angels came from my friend April.

Madi's board is a little more earthy...it fits her personality :)

Two little girls with such different little attitudes, likes, dislikes....
I really love that they each have a little guardian angel watching them as they sleep.

Happy day to you all!
